As a Product Manager in our expanding SuccessFactors Products Team at Pentos, you will define the products’ vision, strategy, and roadmap for our innovative products (new and existing) at Pentos. In this role, you are translating business needs into technical solutions in order to strategize the full lifecycle of a product, from conception to launch. We’re looking for a confident leader who can guide cross-functional teams in the creation of products that improve customer experience and grow market share significantly to match our ambitions.
Your responsibilities:
- Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements, roadmap development, and product launch.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams.
- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
- Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications.
- Closely collaborate with engineering, professional services, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization.
- Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates Pentos products jointly with marketing.
- Create supporting assets like functional descriptions, user guides, and implementation handbooks jointly with engineering and professional services.
Your Profile:
- 3-5 years’ experience in (partially) product management in a non-managerial role.
- Basic understanding of product development and development cycles.
- Deep understanding of HR domain (Core, Talent) is a plus.
- Languages: preferable speaking German (B2/C1) and professional level of English.
- Industry Knowledge: B2B software products, SaaS products, HR IT or business domain is a plus, SAP SuccessFactors knowledge is a plus.
