Due to the expansion of our team and our ambition to increase our market share, we are looking for a German-speaking Sales Manager who wants to take the next step in an experienced and international team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing business opportunities in the mid-market and enterprise segments. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of HR-IT solutions, including core HR solutions, talent management, payroll, time tracking, and HR analytics platforms, and excels in a consultative sales approach to achieve value-driven results.
Your Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Identify and strategically engage with mid-market and enterprise clients in the assigned territory.
- Conduct market research to determine customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
Consultative Sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including HR executives, CIOs, and other stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain close relationships with our key partner, SAP AG.
- Understand customer challenges and align solutions to deliver measurable ROI.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing, including proposal development, product demonstrations, and contract negotiations.
Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product, and delivery teams to develop tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide market feedback to enhance product offerings and competitive positioning.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track sales figures, pipeline progress, and forecasts accurately.
- Provide regular updates and performance reports to management.
Your Profile:
- Experience: At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in HR-IT services or SaaS solutions.
- Expertise: Familiarity with HR technologies and processes such as ATS, HCM, payroll, and time tracking tools in a service-oriented business. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or similar solutions is preferred.
- Language Skills: Fluent in German (C1 or higher) and English.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, particularly in the mid-market or enterprise segment.
- Competencies: Self-motivated and results-driven, strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, analytical thinking with problem-solving abilities, adaptability in a dynamic and competitive market.
- Technical Skills: Ability to understand technical solutions and communicate their value to a non-technical audience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Location: Based in Germany with the ability and willingness to travel.
